Great Arnis class last night!!! It's funny how enthusiasm is infectious .... after my weekend study session I was so pumped up with some of my epiphanies (better late than never) that I just had to show Evan before class, which of course lead us into a discussion on kata and bunkai that lasted most of the class ... nice to give those brain cells a workout from time to time in the dojo!!!!!
Just wanted you to know, yall were mentioned by name last night. If the bad person has a stick (big or little), they have a knife- sword- gun- rock whatever, or when two people have sticks. I explained, that even when only one person has a stick, and it is not you, you must believe that shortly you will have a stick and act accordingly, or you might die. I also believe we should all come together and play again on a Thursday, in a month... but where? I miss you all, even if you are all crazy. Glad to see you're still having fun, train hard my friends.

Now that can't be good .... being mentioned by name was almost always followed by a trip outside to cut a switch.
I can give you an even bigger fish story .... Evan and Master Grinnell have convinced me of the fact time and time again that even if I have the stick I'm at a disadvantage ... think I might try your suggestion and just throw rocks at them cause I know they are packing more knives, swords and guns than I am!! Remember, if it ain't fun your hearts not in it!!!!
