Special Visitors at The Halls Dojo
Last night started out to be a normal night. Then in walks Master Rick Breeden with one of his students, Donald. It is always a pleasure to see Rick. His young student, Donald, was a complete joy to work with. He was a ball of energy. Rick said he was recovering from a knee injury but his foot seemed to find its way to the side of my head just fine. His elbow also found its way to my mouth and I have a nice cherry looking spot on my bottom lip. It looks very nice against my skin tone I want to thank Master Breeden for stopping by and he knows he is welcome anytime.

I second that emotion! The Halls Dojo has been truly blessed the last couple of years by the caliber, character and talent of our friends. It was a joy to have Master Breeden come in and sandblast our rust, although this morning I feel like I was sewn into a burlap sack and beaten with a broom .... Rick and I had some epic feet vs. hand battles a few decades back on Ashville Hwy and it was great to see that he hasn't lost a beat. Thanks for taking it easy on this old man and for motivating my young padawan!!! As for young Donald, try I might I could not find his off switch!!! Very impressive for a young green belt to take the fight to a couple old black belts he'd never met ... I enjoyed every minute of it .... Also thanks for the kind words for Simon and Evan, they have really stepped it up these last couple of months and we are proud they represent The Halls Dojo!

Sounds like a fun night. Rick's a good guy. I haven't seen him in quite a few years.

If you mean the kind of fun when you wake up the next morning begging for someone to put you out of your misery, then yep it was ..
Wait till you see Brad's Lip .... Makes me giggle!!!!

HA HA, makes me giggle too. I actually wore a deep red shirt today and it blends nicely with my lip.
Mark, Rick looks the same as he always has with the exception his beard is not as black as it once was. Its more of a salt and pepper look. I almost made a reference to Salt-n-Pepa but i didn't want to "Push it". I mean shoop, most people probably would know what I was talking about anyway.
